Accepted into Rose Bruford College!

Hi friends and family!

This fall, I am hoping to move to London to start my MFA in Theatre for Young Audiences at Rose Bruford College! It’s a huge step toward my dream of creating inclusive, meaningful theatre with, for, and by young people—and continuing the work I’ve fallen in love with here in Salt Lake City.

As many of you know, working with young people through Youth Theatre at the U (YTU) has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my life. I’ve been lucky enough to teach, create, and collaborate with some amazing students who inspire me every day to be a better artist and educator. 🎭✨ The experiences I’ve had with the youth theatre community have shaped my belief in the power of storytelling, and I’m excited to take this next step to bring those lessons into the classroom and onto the stage—on a global scale.

If you’ve ever taken my class, seen a show, or even just asked how rehearsal’s going—thank you. This next chapter wouldn’t be possible without the community that’s lifted me up so far.

I’m so grateful for all of you who’ve supported me up to this point, whether it’s attending shows, sharing ideas, or just being there for me during late-night rehearsal talks. If you’d like to help me make this dream a reality—whether that’s through grants, passing along any funding ideas, or any generous donations—I would be beyond grateful. Every little bit helps me take this leap.

I’ve been saving up for this move for a long time, but once I’m in the UK, I’ll be limited to part-time work due to my student visa. So if you know of any flexible or remote opportunities—or have connections to grant orgs, arts admin work, tutoring gigs, anything—I’m all ears! Every bit helps me stay afloat while I focus on the work I came to do. 💼💻💕

I also wrote a personal essay about childhood, queerness, youth theatre, and all the things that shaped the artist and educator I’m becoming. If you’d like to get a deeper look into what’s guiding me, you can read it here: 👉 What We Carry Onstage

If you’d like to support me (whether that’s through funding resources, or just spreading the word, I’d be endlessly grateful. Every bit helps me take this next leap.

But it’s not all smooth sailing—I want to be fully transparent about the cost of this big move!
